There seems to be a surge in hand made texts, whether that be sewn, written or collaged. Often a mixture of the two are popular, such as the top image where the font itself is computer generated but it has been hand drawn. This trend is good for those illustrators who enjoy handwritten texts to get their personality into the image, it has an almost retro feel to it. Retro seems to be coming back throughout life - fashion, illustration, even technology.
