contacting agencies

I recently contacted two illustration agencies with the following message:

Dear [agency's name]
I am about to end my second year of an illustration degree and am contacting people in the industry. I have a traditional approach, using mainly watercolours, but with a modern twist, using photoshop and i want to find out what opportunities are open to me when i graduate. Can you give me any advice about what you look for in an illustrator, and what makes a good portfolio?

I chose these because of the quality of their illustrators and because they had other 'traditional' artists. I am awaiting a reply.
