This is my final piece for the Wellspring charity newspaper. I wanted to show different types of homelessness, some (like the sofa surfing) people may not realise is classed as homelessness. It was my first time as mixing drawn elements with photos, and after a lot of stress i think it worked well. In future i might use photos but on a smaller scale, so use a photo as an element of the drawing rather than the main aspect. It originally had text on each part with different reasons for being homeless but this made it look a little ugly so they have now gone into a text box at the bottom on the printed version. I was worried it would look like a block of grey but the fadeing at the bottom really softened it and leads gently into the text.
