John Holder

I found John Holder on Illustration web. I was on the look out for a proffessional with a style similar to mine who can influence my work. His work is similar to mine in the sense of sketchy ink marks but i mainly chose him because much of his work is metaphor based.
The Elvis Jukebox, for example could show how Elvis songs make you come alive, or that playing his record is like having the real thing in the room - it doesn't lose quality.
The Earth seems a bit more obvious, that whoever's hands those are are taking care of the Earth, or maybe it's relying on us.
He is a good artist to keep an eye on when doing editorial type works, he could be very inspirational.
