This is my favourite in the small bird series. I chose it because the long neck and blank expression reminded me of Rodney from Only Fools and Horses. Black and bright green compliment each other well and i like how they are almost sporadic, unlike the usually precise plumage of other birds. The idea of the bird havinf little orange brown 'boots' is very endearing too. I also like the two tail feathers, i've drawn then how found feathers often are, separated and slightly tatty, as i imagine they would hanging such a long way from the body.
