I'm really pleased with the big momma bird, my favourite part is the eye because it looks so lifeless and glazed over. I'm not too keen on the little bird though, i went back to drawing like i used to, somewhere inbetween realistic and a cartoon. I added a zigzag horizon line as a homage to the zig zag cut around Mil's black bird. After i'd finished i suddenly realised i'd drawn it flat on and wished i'd done a more interesting angle, but then i looked at Mil's again and her work is flat on so i left it. I like how i managed to get the right colour on the momma bird, though maybe i could have had more colour on there, though that might have ruined it, i don't know.
